EMS Week 2026: Improving Outcomes, Together

This year’s EMS Week theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” highlighted the essential collaboration between 911 dispatchers, public health, fire, law enforcement, and medical professionals to strengthen prehospital care.

Every EMS clinician carries one call with them, not for its heroism, but for its humanity.

These moments rarely make headlines, yet they are what truly shape outcomes and change lives. They go beyond vital signs, they mean people returning home, families staying together, and communities feeling safer because someone showed up when it mattered most.

We had an incredible week celebrating our team and their unwavering dedication to serving others. We would like to thank our community for being so generous this week, donating food, snacks and fun treats for our crew. We greatly appreciate the support.

McDonald’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dairy Queen, Olive Garden, Cracker Barrel, Dibella’s Subs, Vocelli Pizza, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Chick-Fil-A, Mission BBQ, Chikn, Cranberry Stretch Zone, Finn Chiropractic, Allegheny Health Network Prehospital Care Services & LifeFlight, Butler County PA Emergency Services and UPMC Passavant.

To end the week, we held our annual EMS Week Picnic at our station. Thank you to all who attended!

Message from the Chief:

I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible men and women of Cranberry Township EMS for the dedication, professionalism, and compassion they bring to our community every single day.

Our team responds at all hours, in all conditions, and during some of the most difficult moments in people’s lives. Whether providing lifesaving emergency care, supporting public safety partners, educating the community, or simply offering reassurance during a crisis, our personnel make a lasting impact far beyond the call itself.

The strength of this organization comes from the commitment of our staff. Their teamwork, resilience, and unwavering service continue to shape the high standard of care our community has come to expect and trust.

To every member of our EMS family — thank you for your sacrifice, your professionalism, and your dedication to serving others. The work you do matters, and our community is stronger because of you.

Lastly, thanks to Pam McKenzie for orchestrating an amazing week full of meals, gifts, and memories. Each year is a testament to your passion and dedication to the organization and the providers. Thank you for what you do!

Happy EMS Week, and thank you for all that you do.
